  • St Micheals on Sea beach is a popular swimming and surfing beach that you’ll find at the mouth of the Umhlangeni River. It’s popularity with surfers is thanks to it having one of the best point breaks in South The beach at St Micheals on Sea is patrolled by lifeguards and the water protected by shark nets so it makes swimming a possibility too. You’ll also see paddle boats out on the water enjoying the fresh sea air. Another highlight is the grass area that has a children’s swimming pool as well as a number of rock pools filled with interesting sea creatures.
