Obiekwa Country House is a 3-bedroom establishment in the picturesque and quaint village of Riebeek Kasteel in the Swartland, with its wine estates, gourmet restaurants, festivals and wedding venues. The Country House is located in a quiet cul-de-sac on the edge of the village, looking onto an adjoining vineyard with sweeping mountain views. There is a friendly pub a few hundred yards away, and the village square is a fifteen-minute walk through the picturesque streets.

Obiekwa Country House  sleeps  6 guests in 3 large, luxury bedrooms each with their own distinctive décor and furnishings. 

The main bedroom has a hi-volume ceiling, remote-control fan and dimmer, an en-suite shower and a view through the big sash window out across the vineyard and on to the mountains. The second bedroom has 1 king-size bed which can be converted into 2 single beds, plus a remote-control ceiling fan and an en-suite shower and bath.The Pekan room is the largest of all and  is equipped with its own kitchenette and easy chairs. 

All the bedrooms have access to an open-plan living and dining area, with comfortable country-style armchairs, sofa, DVD and 6-seater dining room table, plus slow combustion cube fireplace. The self-catering kitchen has an electric stove, microwave, big fridge, and all crockery and cutlery. The living area opens onto a large covered patio with a braai, overlooking a fynbos and succulent garden to the vines.

Obiekwa Country House also offers a swimming pool at the bottom of the garden near the vines to cool down on warm summer days. A petanque strip for a fun game of French bowls (boules) is also available for guests. Free Wi-Fi is provided. Off-street parking is available for several cars.
